Whole Home Systems
Whole-home water softeners and filtration
A whole-home system treats water where it enters the house, so every tap, shower, appliance and ice maker gets the same treated water. This is the equipment that actually fixes hard water — the scale on your fixtures, the film on your shower door, the water heater that's aging faster than it should.

Why this matters
It protects the expensive things
Water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines and the plumbing itself. Scale is what shortens their lives, and it accumulates quietly for years before anything visibly fails.
Soap starts rinsing again
Soap and detergent rinse away properly in soft water, so laundry stops coming out dull and glassware stops filming over. Same dissolved calcium, showing up somewhere else.
Chlorine goes too
Many companies sell a softener on its own, then price carbon filtration as a separate add-on. The Mixed Bed does both in one tank, softening and carbon, at one published price.
